Handwriting 2014

The munstergroup Insurance Clare Community Games U11 Handwriting Competition took place in St. Joseph's School, Tulla on Saturday 15th February. The standard was extremely high giving the co-ordinator Mary Moran and Goretti O'Dea the chairperson of the judging panel a very difficult task.  

Handwriting 2015

The MUNSTERGROUP Insurance Clare Community Games Handwriting competitions for both Boys & Girls U10 & U12 took place in St Joseph's Secondary School Tulla on Saturday 31st Jan. 120 children took part. The standard was extremely high which gave the judges a very difficult task to select the children to represent Clare in the National Finals in Athlone in August. The co-ordinator was Mary Moran. Results below.

Handwriting 2016

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Handwriting competitions for both Boys & Girls U10 & U12 took place in St Joseph's Secondary School Tulla on Sat 30th Jan. In excess of 120 children took part. The standard was extremely high which gave the judges a very difficult task to select the children to represent Clare in the National Finals in Athlone in August. The co-ordinator was Mary Moran with assistance from Mary McNamara and a number of students from St Joseph's school in Tulla.  Many thanks to PRO, Mary Phelan for circulating results.

Handwriting 2017

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Handwriting competitions were held in St Joseph's Secondary School, Tulla on Sat 18th Feb. A very large number participated in the different age groups. The standard of writing was extremely high giving the judges a very difficult job in deciding the winners. It was co ordinated by Mary Moran with a large crew of helpers. Thanks to all of them. In the U10 & U12 competitions the children participated for the chance to represent Clare in the National Finals. The U14 competition was a County event only. Medals and certs are available for collection by an area representative at the monthly county meetings.

Handwriting 2018

The St. Francis Credit Union Clare CommunityGames handwriting competition took place in Tulla Secondary school on Saturday, 10th February. The U10 and U12 Gold medal winning boys and girls progress to the National Finals. The U14 competition is currently only a county competition. Medals will be available for collectoin at the next County Meeting on Tues 6th March in Treacy's West County Hotel at 9pm.

Many thanks for St. Joseph's Secondary School, Tulla, for provinding a wonderful venue for the competition and thanks to coordinator Mary McNamara and all the adult and youth volunteer helpers and judges.

Handwriting 2019

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Handwriting competitions were held in Tulla Secondary School on Saturday 16th February. Over one hundred and eighty children form twenty four areas across the county participated. The first place in the U10 and U12 age groups go forward to represent Clare in the National Finals which will take place in U.L. in May. The U14 category was a county competition only. The standard was high. Thanks to co Ordinator Mary McNamara, Tulla School, all the students who helped and the very capable judges.  Medals will be available for collection by Area Representative after the County Meeting on Tues 5th March in Treacy's West County Hotel.
