Quiz 2016

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Under 14 Quiz competition took place in St Flannan's College, Ennis, last Friday 11th March.  Many thanks to Tony Bourke and helpers for running this competition off again this year.  Well done to Cooraclare/Cree who go forward to represent Clare in the National Festival in August.

Quiz 2017

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Quiz competition for U14 children took place on Friday 24th in St Flannans College. The standard was extremely high with a large number of teams in the running up to the last round. Only six marks between the top four teams with Kilrush coming out as winners.

Quiz 2018

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games U14 Quiz took place on Friday 23rd March in St Flannan's College, Ennis. The Co ordinator was Tony Bourke. The Quiz Master was the ever efficient Martin McInerney. Thirty teams from across the county participated for the opportunity to represent Clare in the National Finals in U.L. in May. The scoring was very high with only a few points seperaating the top eight teams throughout the competition with any of these being potential winners right up to the last round. At the end of the ten rounds the first place had gone to Loop Head (Carrigaholt/Cross/Kilkee) but the next three were tied. After six rounds the 4th place was decided. It took another two rounds to separate 2nd and 3rd.

Quiz 2019

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games U14 Table Quiz competition took place on 22nd March in St Flannan's College, Ennis. Many thanks to Tony Bourke and his team for once again coordinating this popular event. There was a great turnout and the team from Tulla now go forward to represent Clare in the National Finals in May.

Community Games is an independent voluntary organisation which operates through the local community to provide an opportunity for young people (6 to 16 years) to experience a wide range of sporting and cultural activities before concentrating and specialising in those most suitable and attractive to them.
