CLARE COMMUNITY GAMES

The St. Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Marathon (7km) competition took place on a warm evening on Wed 1st June in Kilmurry McMahon.  Many thanks again to Tommy McCarthy for co-ordinating the event and to Mary McCarthy and Patricia Sheehan for the lovely tea and apple tart. The first four boys and four girls home will make up the 8 member County Team to represent Clare in Athlone in August.The results are as follows: -

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Marathon for both boys & girls was held on Wednesday 22nd March in Kilmurry McMahon in ideal conditions. It coordinated by Tommy McCarthy. The first four in each to make up the Clare team for the National Finals on 6th May in Abbotstown.

Well done to all the girls and boys who competed in the Marathon on 13th March in Kilmurry McMahon. The first 4 boys and first 4 girls are the Clare team at the National Festival. There was a great turnout and huge thanks to Tommy McCarthy and James Sexton for holding this competition. Thanks also to Mary McCarthy and Patricia Sheehan for the lovely cuppa and apple tart and to Kilmurry McMahon Community Centre for the use of their facilities.
