* ORS: Community Games online registration system. Area secretaries must enter participant/team details fully and correctly on the ORS prior to the closing date.
** National Participation Rules: A child can take part in 1 individual and 1 team event in each of the National Finals weekends. A representative event will be considered as the child's individual entry. Representative Events are Cross Country, Mixed Distance Relay, Marathon, Debating and Projects U16. Each weekend is classed as a standalone weekend, so for example if a child participated in the Athletics Weekend on the 13th August, they can go on to participate in the Cultural weekend in the 27/28th August, Swim/Team weekend in September and the Cross Country/Pitch & Putt weekend in October. Please also note the following:-
- 4 children from each County can take part (4 girls and 4 boys) in our Regional Athletics Track Finals.
- 1st; 2nd, 3rd and 4th place winners of our Regional Athletics Track Finals will take part in our National Finals.
- 2 children from each County can take part in each Field Event (2 girls and 2 boys) at our National Finals. Field events go straight to National.
- NB: Relay Events go straight to National (no Regional Finals).
National Finals Event Pricing
- Please see below further clarification on the pricing for our events.
- Participant ticket for Regionals is €10.
- Spectator ticket for Regionals is €10.
- OAPs and non-participating children accompanying adults for all events is Free of charge
- National individual participant events is €12 .
- National Spectator ticket (athletics, swimming, teams, arts and cultural) is €10.
- Track relay and squads including subs is €12.
- National Swimming participants is €12.
- National Arts and Cultural participant is €12.
- National Arts and Cultural additional event is €12.
- National Team participant events is €15.
- If a participant is competing for example in an individual track event and also a relay they must purchase both an individual and relay ticket. These tickets must be accompanied by at least one adult ticket. Likewise if a child is participating in only the relay event an adult ticket must be purchased with the relay ticket.
