U16 Girls Basketball 2016

St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games U16 Girls basketball competition took place last Saturday 6th Feb in Corofin hall. Cooraclare/Cree were the deserved winners having beaten Inch/Connelly/Kilmaley & Quin/Clooney to make it into the final against Kilrush. It was a thrilling final and both teams played well but Cooraclare/Cree proved too strong for the Kilrush side winning in the end 29 -14. Corraclare/Cree now go onto represent the County at the Munster finals which will take place in July. After a very close playoff game for 3rd place Inch/Connelly/Kilmaley beat Quin/Clooney 4-3.
