Camogie 2021

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games got back to their Outdoor games for the first time since 2019. The first of these events was the Camogie U14 which was held in Kilmaley on Sun 8th August. It was co ordinated by Ann McMahon. Four teams participated with Newmarket-on-Fergus proving to be the much stronger team on the day.  Newmarket on Fergus now go on to represent Clare in Munster on 11th September in U.L.

First semi-final – Newmarket-on-Fergus 7-8 to Inch/Kilmaley/Connolly 5-2.
Second semi-final – Sixmilebridge/Kilmurry 7-8 to Broadford/Kilbane 3-4.
Final – Newmarket-on-Fergus 8-7 to 0-3
The play off for 3rd & 4th places was a very close contest with Inch/Kilmaley/Connolly coming out on top 3-5 to 3-3
Newmarket on Fergus now go on to represent Clare in Munster on 11th September in U.L.
