St Francis Credit Union Supports Clare Community Games

St Francis Credit Union is delighted to continue its support for Clare Community games as it celebrates its 50th Anniversary. St Francis Credit Union have been part of this fantastic organisation as a main sponsor for over 4 years now. The main reason for our involvement on behalf of the membership is that the community games carries the same ethos values here in St Francis Credit Union.

Speaking about the sponsorship Louis Fay CEO with St Francis Credit Union said: “Clare Community Games is an organisation close to everyone’s heart in the Clare region because of the history it carries, as many parents who bring their kids to the games would have been involved themselves in years past. We very much look forward to working with the team at overseeing the Games. While the last 18 months have been difficult for everyone it is wonderful to see many of the events going ahead”.

St Francis Credit Union has been operating in the Clare community for 55 years. The credit union provides valuable savings and loan services to its 36,000 members. Currently St Francis Credit Union has savings of €180 Million and a loan book of €55 Million.

St Francis Credit Union has always seen supporting local as a key to its growing success and this support is no different. In recent years St Francis Credit Union launched the Social & Cultural Fund to help non-profit organisations fund certain projects. To date St Francis Credit Union have committed €60,000 in local projects.
