National Virtual Events May 2021

Hundreds of children from County Clare joined 4,000 children from all over Ireland to take part in the Aldi Community Games Virtual Events this year. A new Aldi Community Games platform was launched in March 2021 and this enabled children to participate in a range of virtual Community Games events – Art, Handwriting, Model-making, Dance, Singing, Music and Recitation in several different age groups.

This new platform offered direct access to enter locally judged area-run events. Judges then selected the county qualifiers and national judges then selected the national medal winners.  A total of 26 children from Clare went through to be judged in the national finals and congratulations for all those who won medals. All children who participated in the virtual events will also receive a special virtual certificate.
