National Swimming - November 2021
The Community Games National Swimming finals took place in the University of Limerick on Saturday 27th November. Clare were well represented by a fine team of swimmers from across the county. Many of the Clare team were delighted to meet Irish Olympian, Brendan Hyland. Huge thanks is due to Niamh O'Connor from Doora / Barefield who coordinated everything for County Clare on the day and who assisted all Clare swimmers and their families to ensure everything went smoothly - no easy feat in the current Covid environment. Thanks also to the other volunteers who helped out: Leanna Conway (Youth Officer, Ballynacally/Lissycasey), Christina Liddane (Carrigaholt/Cross) and Sarah Quinlavin (Area Secretary Newmarket on Fergus).
