The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Art competition took place on Saturday 6th February 2016 in CBS School, Ennis. Great credit is due to Cecilia O'Sullivan and her team for organising yet another successful event and many thanks to the school for providing the premises and all the volunteers who helped with supervision of the competition.

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Badminton competition took place on Sun 10th Apr in St.Annes School, Killaloe. Many thanks to Deirdre Geary and John Daly for co-ordinating.
The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games U14 Camogie competition takes place on Saturday 26th March in Newmarket-on-Fergus commencing at 10am. Teams should arrive 15 mins before start time.
The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Chess competition takes place in St Flannan's College, Ennis, this Sun 10th Apr commencing at 2pm sharp. Please bring €10 per team. Teams to arrive 15 minutes before hand in order to register.
The St. Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games All Star awards took place on Friday 21st October in Treacy's West County Hotel, Ennis. Congratulations to all those who received well deserved awards on the night.

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games U-13 Cross Country competitions for Boys & Girls were held on Saturday 5th March last in glorious sunshine on the lands of The Collins family in Kilnaboy. It was co ordinated by Margaret & Vincent McCarthy. Over seventy children from across the county took part. The first five boys & five girls make up the county team to represent Clare in the National finals in Athlone in August. There was also u-10 cross country relays for both boys & girls which is a county competition only All results and details as follows:-

The St. Francis Credit Union Clare Community Draughts Competition took place on Saturday 9th April in St Joseph’s Secondary School, Tulla. Many thanks to co-ordinator, Paul Caulfield; referee, Sean McGrath; all the Tulla Community Games committee and Score keepers David Meehan, Jack Noonan and Ethan Nugent. The standard in these competitions were extremely high any many of the matches went down to the final couple of games.
The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Futsal competition was held on Sat 30th April in Corofin. Many thanks to Flan Brennan and his team for once again doing an excellent job running this event. Full results below.
The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games U-10 Mixed Gaelic Football Competitions were held on Sun 17th April in Cooraclare. In the quarter finals Cooraclare/Cree defeated Shannon while Kilmurry Ibrickane beat Doora/Barefield White, Doora/Barefield Maroon had a bye to semi final where they defeated Kilmihil. Cooraclare/Cree defeated Kilmurry Ibrickane in the 2nd semi final. The final was a very exciting game between Cooraclare/Cree and Doora/Barefield Maroon in which Cooraclare/Cree were victorious and now go forward to represent Clare in the Munster Finals.
The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games gymnastics competition was held in Clare Gymnastics Club, Ennis, on Thursday June 23rd.
The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Handwriting competitions for both Boys & Girls U10 & U12 took place in St Joseph's Secondary School Tulla on Sat 30th Jan. In excess of 120 children took part. The standard was extremely high which gave the judges a very difficult task to select the children to represent Clare in the National Finals in Athlone in August. The co-ordinator was Mary Moran with assistance from Mary McNamara and a number of students from St Joseph's school in Tulla. Many thanks to PRO, Mary Phelan for circulating results.
The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games U11 Hurling competition took place in Kilkishen on May Bank Holiday, 2nd May, and was expertly co-ordinated by Pat Loughnane and his team from Kilkishen/O'Callaghan's Mills. Many thanks to all the volunteer lines men - Brendan Noonan, Ollie Driscoll, Aiden Moroney, Tom Loughnane, Ciaran and Gerry Cooney and to Tina and Pauline for the tea and coffee. Wishing Sixmilebridge/Kilmurry all the best at the Munster competition. The full results are listed below.
The first competition of the new season of St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games took place in Corofin Hall on Saturday 9th Jan. It was the first of the Indoor Soccer competitions and involved 14 U13 teams from across the county. The standard of competition was extremely high with all teams vying for the chance to represent Clare in the Munster finals in July. It was co-ordinated as usual by Flan Brennan and his team of referees.
The St. Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Marathon (7km) competition took place on a warm evening on Wed 1st June in Kilmurry McMahon. Many thanks again to Tommy McCarthy for co-ordinating the event and to Mary McCarthy and Patricia Sheehan for the lovely tea and apple tart. The first four boys and four girls home will make up the 8 member County Team to represent Clare in Athlone in August.The results are as follows: -
