The All Star Awards are presented each autumn to celebrate those participants who have excelled in their activity and who have demonstrated the true ethos of Community Games.

The Golden Vale Milk Community Games All-Stars awards for 2009 took place on Friday 16th October 2009 in the West County. In excess of 60 boys and girls from Clare were honoured at the occasion. Well done to all concerned.

Clare Community Games All Stars 2010

The annual All Star Presentation and dance was held on Friday 15th October in the West County Hotel, Ennis. Music on the night was provided by Gerry Sexton with entertainment from the Sixmilebridge/Kilmurry Variety Group and the Carrigaholt/Cross All Ireland winning Set Dancing Group.

Congratulations too to long serving Joe Lynch from Ennis who won the Hall of Fame award and to Quin/Clooney who won the Most Involved Area Trophy again.

Clare Community Games All Stars 2014

The munstergroup Insurance Clare Community Games All Star Award Ceremony took place on Friday 17th October in the West County Hotel, Ennis. Congratulations to all the All Star winners, who are listed below, and to Seamus Hayes (Clare Champion) who received the Hall of Fame Award for his excellent coverage of Community Games throughout the year(s).  Quin/Clooney once again won the International Police Association Cup for the most involved/best developed area.

Chairperson, Kieran Harvey, thanked sponsors, munstergroup Insurance and all the volunteers and parents who contribute so much to the organisation at local level and Mayor John Crowe echoed these sentiments. Once again, Kevin O'Loughlin did a fine job as MC and a big thanks to Rose and Graham Meakins who co-ordinate the event annually. Flowers were presented to hard-working county secretary (and photographer!) Mary Loughnane and long serving volunteers Cecilia O'Sullivan (vice president) and Dolores O'Loughlin.

Some exceptional entertainment was provided by the choir and set dancers from Quin/Clooney, the Killaloe Culture Corner group and musician Noel O'Gorman from Kilmihil. The evening was finished off with a lively disco till late. Many thanks to the staff from the West County who provided excellent food and service throughout the evening.

Clare Community Games All Stars 2017

The St. Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games All Star awards took place on Friday 27th October in Treacy's West County Hotel, Ennis. Congratulations to all those who received well deserved awards on the night.

Clare Community Games All Stars 2018

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Annual All Star Awards Function was held on Friday 19th October in Treacy's West County Hotel, Ennis. Seventy Six children, 43 boys & 34 girls from twenty four areas across the county received awards for their outstanding achievements in their activity. The Chairman John Wall welcomed everyone especially the All Stars, their families, volunteers, Louis Faye representing St Francis Credit Union, invited guests and the Mayor of Ennis Clare Colleran Molloy who also represented the County Council. He thanked the main sponsors St Francis Credit Union, Clare County Council and all our sponsors and supporters.

The Mayor congratulated all the recipients of awards. She said she was fascinated by the amount of events that Community Games has to offer the children of Clare.

The M.C's were Sean Lenihan and Carol o'Neill. Amongst those who presented the awards were young talents sports people including Noel Shannon European winner in swimming & Surflifesaving, Timmy Crowe European Athletics winner, Chloe Morey Clare Camogie All Star, Ryan Taylor Clare Hurling star.

Other presentations on the night were Chairman's Awards which went o a very young talented singer/musician Katie Jones.

The Hall of Fame Award went to Clare McGrath who has co ordinated the county swimming finals for many years having taken over from her parents who were long serving members of Community Games John & Nora Murphy.

The International Police Association Cup for the most involved large area was presented to Doora Barefield by Billy Saunderson. They now go forward to contest the National finals in Cavan on December 1st. They were Clare, Munster and National winners last year and hoping to do likewise this time around.

The most involved Small Area Award went to Feakle. Feakle only came back into Community Games after a nuber of years abscent two years ago. They also go forward to National Final.

A Presentation was made to Rose & Graham Meakins to acknowledge their outstanding work in coordinating the All Star Awards events over thirty years.

The participants received their awards at the special All Star Awards night in Treacy's West County Hotel on Friday 11th October. The Hall of Fame award was presented to County Secretary (and photographer) Mary Loughnane, in recognition for the huge amount of work she has put in over so many years.

Clare Community Games All Stars 2020

Congratulations to all the St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games 2020 All Stars. Due to Covid 19 many competitions did not go ahead last year but despite the restrictions some county events took place before we went into lockdown in March 2020. Clare Community Games would very much like to thank Davy Fitzgerald for his assistance and to congratulate the award winners.The participants received their awards "virtually" from the two time Hurling All Ireland winner and co-creator of the Ireland's Fittest Family TV show.  Davy was himself a winner of a Clare Community Games All Star Award some years ago!

Hall of Fame

Each year, from 1979 to date, a Hall of Fame Award is presented to a Clare Community Games volunteer, or someone within the community, for outstanding achievement and service to the Community Games cause.  Each year, there is also a nomination put forward for the Adult and Youth Volunteer award ceremony.  The International Police Association Cup for the most involved large area is also presented during the All Star Award Ceremony.
