U10 Girls Indoor Soccer 2019

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Indoor Soccer for girls U10 was held on Saturday 3rd March in Corofin GAA Hall. Five teams participated. In the preliminary round Clarecastle/Ballyea beat Doora/Barefield by 2-1. The semi final Cooraclare/Cree beat Moylussa 4-1 while Sixmilebridge/Kilmurry beat Clarecastle/Ballyea 3-2 on Penalties after finishing 0-0 at full time. Clarecastle/Ballyea beat Moylussa for the Bronze medals. The finals was a great match with the much stronger Cooraclare/Cree girls proving much too strong for Sixmilebridge/Kilmurry. Cooraclare/Cree now go forward to represent Clare in the Munster finals in Tralee in April. Many thanks to Flan Brennan, Mark Nestor and their assistants who ensured the event ran smoothly.
