The next County Meeting takes place on Tuesday 6th Sept @ 8:30pm. This meeting will be in Treacy's West County Hotel and there will also be a Google Meet link circulated to areas in advance.

Girls Indoor Soccer 2020

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Indoor Soccer Competitions for Girls U10 took place on Sunday 8th March in Corofin GAA Hall.  The U13 event took placed on Sunday 1st March.  The event was coordinated by Flan Brennan and his assistants. The winners in each age group go forward to represent Clare in the Munster finals on 18th April.

U10 Results

Moylussa got a walkover from Ennis St John’s, Cratloe and Broadford/Kilbane/Kilmore were level at full time but Cratloe won out 3-0 on penalties. Ballynacally/Lissycasey got a walk over from Cooraclare/Cree. In the semi finals – Doora/Barefield beat Moylussa 4-2, Cratloe beat Ballynacally/Lissycasey 7-1, Moylussa beat Ballynacally/Lissycasey 3-1 for the bronze medals. In the final the Cratloe girls proved to be the stronger side when they beat Doora/Barefield 7-2.

  1. Cratloe- Hannah Boyce, Lucy Browne, Teegan Buckley, Jessica Leahy, Abbie O’Gorman, Kate O’Neill, Lucy Lohan, Kate Kearney.
  2. Doora/Barefield – Ruby Courtney, Hadia Ijaz Ghazi, Jessica Hassett, Isabelle Mangan, Ayda Ryan, Olivia Shannon, Anna Smith, Freji Skerritt.
  3. Moylussa – Aoife Slattery, Mia Leyden, Tegan Muldoon, Molly McMahon, Tina O’Shea, Lauren Walsh Forde, Ruth Coll.
  4. Ballynacally/Lissycasey,Maeve Coughlan, Honor Erwin, Sadhbh Geary, Ali Griffin, Nicole Griffin, Aisling Sexton, Jenna Coughlan.

U13 Results

A total of seven teams participated in the U13 competition. In the first rounds Broadford/Kilbane/Kilmore Gold beat Doora/Barefield 3-1, Ballynacally/Lissycasey beat Ennis St John’s 6-2, Moylussa Red beat Broadford/Kilbane/Kilmore Green 6-2. In the semi finals Moylussa Blue beat Broadford/K/K Gold 10-1, Ballynacally/L. beat Moylussa Red 8-1. Broadford/K/K Gold beat Moylussa Red for third place. In the finals the Ballynacally/Lissycasey side proved much too strong for the Moylussa Blue girls winning out on a score of 7-1. The winners now go forward to represent Clare in the Munster finals in U.L.

  1.  Ballynacally/Lissycasey – Keeva Culligan, Hazel Keating, Leah Leahy, Maeve Clancy, Sadhbh Griffin, Nessa Meaney, Sarah Hickey.
  2.  Moylussa Blue – Siobhan McMahon, Emily White, Caoimhe Naughton, Rachel Guerin, Aoibheann McArtur, Caoimhe Moloney.
