CLARE COMMUNITY GAMES

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games Marathon event took place on Thursday 13th April in Kilmurry-McMahon, co-ordinated by Anne Marie Linnane. Tommy McCarthy was on hand to award medals and perpetual trophies to the winners of this U16 boys and girls event.  The winners qualify for the National Finals which take place in Gormanstown, Co. Meath on 27/28th May.

The Munstergroup Clare Community Games Marathon (5km road race) took place in Kilmurry Mc Mahon on Wednesday 19th June. The first four boys and girls home will make up the 8 member County Team to represent Clare in Athlone in August.
