CLARE COMMUNITY GAMES

Table Tennis 2016

The St Francis Credit Union Clare Community Games U13 Boys Table Tennis competitions for 2016 took place in Cratloe GAA hall on Sunday 28th February. The final was contested by the local side Cratloe and Doora/Barefield. It was a very friendly sporting final with Cratloe proving the stronger team and getting through to represent Clare in the Munster finals in U.L. in July. The co-ordinator Sara Lee and her referees did a great job.

RESULTS:-

  1. Cratloe – Sam Sheehy, Sean Spicer, Huw Gardner.
  2. Doora/Barefield – Darragh, McNulty, Jack Moran, Caleb O'Mahoney, Michael Nash, Sam Power.

Also going through to the Munster Finals in July are the two girls teams from Cratloe.

  • U13 Girls – Ella Georgia O'Shea, Aoife Lyons, Roisin Lyons, Jennifer Hall, Eilish Mundy.
  • U16 Girls – Emma O'Connell, Megan Lyons, Rosemary Mundy.
